Andy's Wild Workouts

Fine motor development

Please find time every day to exercise your finger muscles through a fine motor activity. Examples of fine motor activities are:

Colouring

Tracing / Dot to dots

Cutting and sticking

Threading

Playing with small toys ie, LEGO

Please scroll down for suggestions.

At school the children practise letter and number formation daily. Please continue with this as often as possible at home. I have uploaded a powerpoint letter/number formation program we use at school (please concentrate on lower case letters)

The children can use their whiteboards provided for this. At school we always listen to quiet / calming music when we do magic pencil. Please spend a realistic amount of time on these activities depending on the attention stage of your child.
