Good Morning Year 2, 

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and are ready for another week of home learning. 

Today in SPaG I would like you to do this week's spelling test. Then move onto grammar, today we will be learning about adverbs. Please watch this video from BBC Bitesize. Website Link. On the webpage there is a video to watch, highlight the adverbs and then take a quiz to check your understanding of an adverb. I have uploaded a Adverb PowerPoint as well to look through. Then please complete the sheet identifying adverbs, please do the 2 star sheet or the 3 star if your child want to try a challenge. The 3 star sheet doesn't have a word bank on it. 

Mathematics this week is all about shape. Today we will be learning about 2D shape properties. Video Link Please complete the properties of 2D shape worksheet that was emailed to you. If you want to try a challenge when you are finished please try the 'Year 2 Diving into Mastery Draw 2D shapes'. 

This afternoon please complete a task from the whole school learning page.
