Tuesday 12th May
Good Morning Year 6,
Welcome to Tuesday, I hope you had a good day yesterday. Thank you to everyone who has already sent this week’s writing. I have read some inspiring reports all about the care, patience and the kindness of others, how wonderful!
Here are today’s tasks -
Wicks PE click here , Mr Seuke fitness, or a sporting/exercise activity of your choice.
Maths White Rose Maths click here multiplying fractions video link, resources and answers have been emailed.
Complete one arithmetic sheet and mark it yourself.
Spag using https://www.spag.com/ There are three news tests for you to choose from, so pick one that you haven't done before. Then complete a section from your Spag revision booklet from your home learning pack if this isn’t finished. Ask someone to test you for 10 minutes using the SPAG mat.
There is also a Spag Spotters worksheet, this can be done without printing and I have included suggested answers (emailed)
Reading – Continue to update your reading journal. Don’t forget that Tuesday is paired reading day, so try to read aloud to somebody else if you can. See if you can also find time to read to yourself for 15 minutes.
Art - Complete an activity from you Art Challenge booklet.
Then, I have emailed the second part of our current art activity, looking at art in nature and using natural materials. In this lesson you will further develop your coloured pencils skills to sketch leaves and then as a challenge, petals or flowers. All resources have been emailed.
You also have
30 Day Drawing Challenge to try and a drawing activity book for you to look at, both sent by email.
OR
