Summer Term Week 3
Before you do any work this morning I would like you to remind yourself how lucky you are to have so many Year 5 friends- Say good morning to everyone here.
It's Monday 4th May and we are starting the third week of the summer term. You are all doing an amazing job adapting to home learning and I cannot wait to see some of your fabulous work this week. We have a short week this week as Friday is a bank holiday- we are celebrating the 75th Anniversary of VE Day.
On this page you will find all the resources that you need for your topic work and RE work for the next two weeks. We are continuing to learn about the Earth and our learning for the next two weeks will concentrate on volcanoes- you do not have to complete all the tasks I have suggested, choose the ones that would like to do. Your topic plan looks like this (it is also attached in the documents at the bottom of the page):
You should complete some topic work and some RE in the afternoon once you have completed Maths and English. I have attached your RE tasks for this week at the bottom of the page in resources- it is the month of May so I thought we would think about Mary.
As there are lots of resources this week I have attached the Maths and English resources individually to each day as well as the tasks the children need to complete. Your Maths and English should look like this (the document is attached at the bottom of the page):
