Friday 27th March
Friday 27th March
Good morning Year 6
It’s the final day of our first home school week! It has been lovely to hear from some of you on the class blog, please do drop in to say ‘hello’ if you haven’t, it’s a great place to keep in touch with your friends.
Our Friday timetable includes spellings, tables, English, Spanish and PE. If you have been practising this week’s spellings on Spelling Shed, get someone to test you today. Make sure you know what every word means and that you can say it in a sentence. For times tables, log on to Timetables Rock Stars and have a band battle with your friends.
As a writing task today, why not write about your first week of home learning? What have you enjoyed? You write a letter, a diary entry or even a poem. You can share your writing on your Purple Mash via the blog or email.
In the afternoon, please try some Spanish using Miss Hunter's booklet and websites. Then, for PE try to get some fresh air if you can or do some exercise indoors if you are inside. Take some time to look up at the sky, hopefully this weather will continue into a lovely sunny weekend when you can relax!
Today's Challenge
Take some time during the day and do something just for fun! Tell us about it on the blog. We've seen some amazing art, lego models, photography and pet pictures already this week. What will you choose to do today?
Have a great day!
Mrs Holt
