Friday 26th March
Good morning to you lovely lot.
Well that's the end of our first week of Home Learning. I cannot wait to see some of the fabulous work you have been doing at home. Don't forget to look at your emails on Purple Mash, you will find them in Computing, it's called 2Email. Today I would like you to send me an email to let me know what you have learnt this week. I look forward to hearing from you all. Emilia is great at sending me an email, I love chatting to her. Don't forget you can email each other- but I have to approve them first, so it's probably not a good idea to ask someone to play a game as it won't get sent to them until I have seen it. Ask your friends questions or share some funny stories through your email accounts.
So today....
Let's do some work... don't forget Joe if you fancy jumping up and down, and listen to David Walliams for elevenses. If the sun is shining listen in the garden.
Maths
I have put an Arithmetic sheet at the bottom of the page for you, the answers are for your parents.
Watch the Home Learning video Lesson 4- Understand Thousandths. The link is on the left hand side of the page. Then complete the activity that follows the video.
There is a worksheet at the bottom of the page for you to compete as well.
English
Alphabet Treasure Hunt- Write all the letters of the alphabet on a piece of paper. Go around your house and garden and find something beginning with each letter. Then for each word think of an adjective (or two) to describe the noun. Choose ten of your best noun phrases and write a sentence with the words in it.
Don't forget to ask an adult to test you on your spelling words.
Have a lovely day- don't forget to comment on our morning blog!
Remember to send me an email on 2Email to let me know what you have learnt this week.
Have a lovely Friday.
Love, Mrs O'Neil
