School Dinners
Twelve15 is part of Surrey County Council, and it has been providing school meals for over 70 years, it feeds thousands of school children daily and is the caterer for Holy Family School. Our meals are cooked in our own kitchen and are of a very high standard.
About School Meals: Pupil's wellbeing is at the heart of Twelve15's recipes. Every weekday it focusses on providing fresh, healthy, and nutritionally balances lunches that adhere to Government Food Standards https://www.gov.uk/school-meals-food-standards 80% of meals are cooked from scratch, using locally sourced produce wherever possible. There is a three-week menu cycle, offering three daily hot meal options including a vegetarian choice. Please see copy of current menu below.
Special Diets and Allergies: Twelve15 caters for the 14 key allergens identified by the Food Standards Agency. It also has a range of Special Diet menus including "Dairy Free" and "Free from Gluten". Our Primary schools are nut free. If your child requires a special diet menu then please complete the Special Diet Request Form below.

There has long been a positive association between learning outcomes and nutrition.
School meals are FREE for all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils, regardless of household income (a saving of over £480). This entitles your child to a balanced main course, dessert and access to a salad bar.
If your child is in Year 3 or above, the cost per meal is £2.80 from September 2024.
Free meals are available for children whose parents are in receipt of benefits: https://www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals. Applications should be made to Mrs Newlands in the school office at lnewlands@holy-family.surrey.sch.uk
Parents must pre-order their child's school dinners on Tucasi Scopay https://www.scopay.com/login.html For all KS2 children that pay for school meals, your child's meal account will need to be in credit before meals can be ordered. We now operate a cashless system for school meals and therefore all payments must be made online via the Tucasi Scopay site. Please note that your bank statement will display www.surreycc.gov.uk for these payments. 
Packed Lunches
If your child wishes to bring a packed lunch there are a few points that we would ask you to note:
Within the school we have several children who are allergic to nuts. We cannot as a school guarantee a nut free environment, as it is not always possible to watch over every item that is brought onto the premises, however, we would urge you to ensure that lunch boxes are free of items that contain nuts (ie. no peanut butter, Nutella or cereal bars containing nuts). It would also help if you could impress on the children, as we do, not to share or exchange lunch items.
As a school we currently have the “Healthy School” status. To ensure that we conform to this, children are not permitted to bring sweets or chocolate bars as part of their lunch (although small chocolate biscuits are permitted). If you wish your child to have a sweet snack after their sandwich then please ensure it is a small biscuit or cake. Also lunch boxes should not contain fizzy drinks.
Finally, please ensure that packed lunches do contain nutritional items that your child likes to eat and we will encourage them to eat.
