The children have PE at 9am (with Mr Seuke's coaches) followed by music  9.40 (with Miss Hunter). 

 

After play, the children have Paired Reading with Reception Class.

English - Changing Speech Bubbles to text.

Using yesterday's work, and the speech bubbles created, children to write out the text, using inverted commas. Remind children of new speaker, new line.

Write it out in their topic books, success criteria stuck in to ensure they punctuate the speech correctly.

Use slides 4-5 of attached powerpoint to support.

 

 

Wellbeing Wednesday After lunch break, the children will probably be visited by some Wellbeing Ambassadors from Yr5, who lead a short mindfulness activity with the class.

Art - Artist Eric Joyner

Introduce the work of Eric Joyner, through information factsheet and powerpoint. There is also a link to Eric Joyner's website on the powerpoint. Focus on the contrasts he makes between the robot and the background. Lots of his paintings have robots in real life backgrounds. Think about perspective.

Children to sketch their own robots, as outlined and explained in the powerpoint.

After school, I believe most of the children are staying for First Holy Communion preparation classes.
