9.15 Shorter Teams Session followed by White Rose Teaching video below.

White Rose Maths Video - Drawing Bar Charts

Click here - Draw Bar Graphs

You can draw your bar chart in your maths squared book. Remember to label your axis and give your graph a heading. These are tricky to do, so don't worry if you find it hard. It is something you will revisit as you get older, and you will increasingly find it easier.

There is also some questions for you to test yourself on statistics attached below.

11am English Teams - We'll be discussing World Book Day. Then, as an end of term treat, you can watch the BBC Teach Live Lesson World Book Day Special for KS2 at 11.30 to 12 on the CBBC Channel on your television or on the BBC Teach website / You Tube. Please be aware when your child is on You Tube, so you can supervise.

There are worksheets that you need to have ready to accompany the BBC Teach lesson.

This is the blurb from the BBC Teach page:

Join us for World Book Day to share a story

This year's World Book Day looks to be a very different one for schools and families alike. Whether you're at home or at school, join us for a very special Live Lesson aimed at primary pupils to celebrate books and share a story.

This 30-minute Live Lesson, hosted by CBBC's Ben Shires and Bitesize Daily's Mr Smith and tied into key curriculum objectives for Key Stage 2/2nd Level, will be live right here on BBC Teach and on the CBBC channel on the morning of 4th March 2021 at 11:30am.

We'll be learning all about themes in stories and how to identify them, hearing about the stories you've been reading and some of your favourite themes, and meeting some of the incredible people that write about them. To wrap up the Live Lesson, we'll also be holding a live question and answer session with comedian and author of the Little Badman series, Humza Arshad.

How to get involved

Good Afternoon Year 3,

This is our last online lesson together, I can't wait to teach you all in person next week and see all of your lovely smiley faces!  I'm looking forward to your wonderful contributions in class and our exciting Art lessons together!  We will light our class candle and join together in prayer and share special times together out in the playground when I'm on duty.  We have so much to look forward to and to be Thankful for!  Please remember to bring your Positivity Jar into school on Monday, we will put these somewhere special in the classroom and add to them each week.  Please also bring in your Art work to be added to your Art Journal.

1.30pm Art:  Today's Art lesson will again be inspired by the work of Contemporary American Artist Eric Joyner.  We will be adding colour to our art work through painting, if you do not have paints at home you can use another medium such as; oil pastels, crayons, pens, or pencils.  You will find the Powerpoint for the lesson in the files below.  There is also a video for you to watch on the Powerpoint.

Enjoy your last Art lesson at home and have a wonderful day off tomorrow.  It would be a good idea to spend some of tomorrow getting ready for back to school, as being organised helps us to feel prepared.

See you next Week!
