Friday 29th January
Friday 29th January
Good morning Year 6,
It’s Friday! That’s our day for giving ourselves a pat on the back for being
Please remember to try to upload some of your work from this week to your one drive. I’d really like to see your writing, maths and some of the other work you have done.
Here is your timetable for today -
Early Work – please complete an arithmetic sheet and mark it yourself.
Please watch Mr Tindall’s assembly by clicking here
Maths – Please complete the decimal arithmetic booklet from your learning pack. Then complete Ultimate multiplication and division of decimals challenge. You can print this sheet or do from the screen. If you are speedy, time yourself and give yourself a maximum of 10 minutes per sheet. How many can you get?
English – We will do a spelling test of this week’s words, then you need to find the 2017 Reading Comprehension booklet from your first learning pack and do the first two texts only ‘Gaby to the Rescue’ and ‘Swimming the English Channel’.
Make sure to do some non-fiction reading today.
This afternoon, I would like you, as usual, to choose something different to do. It could be arty, active or creative. You might want to practise a new skill, do something practical or even something musical. The choice is yours!
See you next week!
